Plot Doctor Session
My Plot Doctor Session is designed to diagnose the underlying story issues that may be holding your story back before you begin drafting.
I will review your chapter outline, synopsis, and/or story bible to help identify weaknesses in plot structure, conflict, pacing, stakes, characterization, and overall story direction. You will receive focused feedback and practical suggestions to help strengthen your story foundation before writing the manuscript.
Plot Doctor Session:
$175 flat rate for one plot diagnosis
Dialogue Doctor
Strong dialogue can bring a story to life, while weak dialogue can make even a great premise fall flat. This focused critique examines your dialogue for stiffness, repetition, unnatural phrasing, weak subtext, overused dialogue tags, and lack of character distinction.
I will provide feedback to help you sharpen character voice, improve conversational flow, strengthen subtext, and make your dialogue sound more natural, engaging, and memorable. This service is ideal for writers who want more believable, vivid conversations on the page.

Together, we can organize characters, worldbuilding, timelines, relationships, plot threads, magic systems, recurring details, and future-book continuity into a clear, usable reference guide. This service is especially valuable for mystery, romance, fantasy, paranormal, and multi-book series authors who want to keep every detail straight as their series grows.
Series Bible Development:
$199 for a starter bible

(A starter bible can cover characters, setting, timeline, relationships, and major continuity notes. An expanded version will include worldbuilding, plot threads, future-book continuity, magic systems, and custom categories.)
Revision Rescue Package
Feeling overwhelmed by revisions or unsure what to tackle first? My Revision Rescue Package is designed for writers who need thoughtful feedback, a clear plan, and personalized guidance to move their manuscript forward with confidence.
This package includes a critical beta read of your manuscript, a personalized revision roadmap, and a follow-up consultation to help you better understand the feedback and decide on your next steps. I will identify what is working well, highlight the areas that need the most attention, and provide practical direction for strengthening your story.
Feedback may address issues such as pacing, plot structure, characterization, conflict, dialogue, tone, point of view, and overall story coherence. The revision roadmap is designed to help you prioritize your changes so the revision process feels more manageable, focused, and productive.
This package is ideal for writers who want more support than a standard beta read, but are not quite ready for a full developmental edit.

Query Package Feedback
Querying can feel overwhelming, and a strong submission package is essential for making a professional first impression. This service provides detailed feedback on your query letter, synopsis, and opening pages so you can present your work as clearly and effectively as possible.
I will offer honest, constructive suggestions to help you strengthen your pitch, improve clarity, sharpen your presentation, and give your submission package its best chance to stand out. This service is ideal for writers preparing to query literary agents or submit directly to publishers.
Query Package Feedback:
$125 for query letter only
$225 for query + synopsis + first ten pages
$275 for query + synopsis + first fifteen pages
Beta Reading
A beta read provides honest, reader-focused feedback on your manuscript before publication or submission. I will read your manuscript and provide a three to five page report sharing my overall impressions of the story, including pacing, character engagement, clarity, and reader impact.
You will receive an overview of what is working well, where the story may lose momentum, and areas that may benefit from revision. This feedback reflects the perspective of an engaged reader rather than detailed editorial analysis.
This service focuses on the overall reading experience and does not include line-editing, copy-editing, proofreading, or a chapter-by-chapter critique.
Beta Reading Pricing:
25,000 to 30,000 words (novella) — $150
30,001 to 50,000 words — $200
50,001 to 80,000 words — $250

Manuscript Conversion with Vellum
This service is for authors who want a polished, reader-friendly book interior formatted in Vellum. I can format a clean standard interior or incorporate client-provided visual elements for a more customized look.
I offer manuscript conversion for books without images, as well as enhanced formatting for books that include client-provided elements such as custom chapter headings, full-page chapter images, page backgrounds, page borders, and text message image bubbles where applicable.
All images and visual assets must be provided by the client in final, ready-to-use form. This service does not include custom graphic design or image creation unless otherwise stated. Unusually complex layouts may require an additional fee.
Please note that I only accept manuscripts submitted as Microsoft Word documents (.doc or .docx), since that is the standard format required for Vellum conversion. Extensive cleanup of manuscript files may require an additional fee.
Manuscript Conversion with Vellum:
Standard interior formatting: $75
Enhanced formatting with client-provided images: $125
Heavily stylized formatting with client-provided design elements: $199
